American Meteorological Society
All students in the senior elective, Atmospheric Science, become members in the Marymount Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. As such, students have access to leading researchers and atmospheric scientists; may attend local and national meetings of the American Meteorological Society; and participate in other innovative programs sponsored by the Society.
Our chapter's primary responsibility is writing and producing the weekend weather forecast for the Marymount School community as well as providing other educational information about weather and climate to the greater global community.
